Crossroads Academy & TechnologyTechnology is a critical tool that helps our staff unlock student potential. All students have an age-appropriate device—laptop or iPad—as well as SMARTBoard access. Crossroads Academy is continually seeking new and innovative ways to utilize technology, including using Google Docs to collaborate on a project with feedback from the teacher and speech-to-text capability, as well as iPad apps that help nonverbal students communicate more effectively.

Below are some of the programs we use to enrich our curriculum and provide differentiated and engaging learning opportunities for our children.

Google Apps for Education

  • Students create, collaborate and share using Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Survey
  • Staff use Google Apps to create differentiated lessons, provide feedback and support students with embedded video, links and other features
